Hello and Shalom!
As president it is my pleasure to welcome you and to tell you a little about our club. The Shalom Club of PebbleCreek is a social organization that seeks to enhance friendships and to provide members with the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of social and educational activities. Membership in the club is open to all PebbleCreek residents, regardless of religion, with an interest in Jewish heritage and social activities.
First among our many activities is the monthly meeting. This provides an opportunity for members to socialize, have a nosh and enjoy a short entertaining program. Programs are varied and include everything from outside speakers to member variety shows.
Next are our three major events: a second night community Seder, a Yom Kipper break-the-fast get together and, of course the Chanukah party. Other activities include bowling and golf, dances, sports day, theater outings, book group, progressive dinners, and many other social events.
Most important of all is our sense of community and the way we support each other through life's many happy and sadder moments.
If we sound like a good fit, please contact either me (623.374.3288) or Ronnie Levine (562.619.9711) our Membership Chair.
We look forward to meeting you!
Marsha Langfuss, President
